After serving in the Marine Corps, Shaw started his career in construction pouring concrete and working as a carpenter in the field for three years. He attended Clemson University and majored in Construction Science and Management. After graduating, Shaw returned to Dargan Construction as an Estimator and Project Manager. He serves on the Board of Directors and has been estimating projects for the past 17 years.
